We operate out of one station.

Engine 1

Engine 1 is a 2009 Pierce Sabre. It is equipped with a 1500GPM pump and a 1000 gallon tank. Engine 1 is the first out engine within the Sandy Bottom Fire District.

Engine 2

Engine 2 is a 1997 E-One Freight-Liner FL80 with a 1250GPM pump and a 1000 gallon tank. Engine 2 responds first out to all mutual aid county calls and second out within the Sandy Bottom Fire District.

Engine 3

Engine 3 is a 1990 E-One Protector with a 1250GPM pump and a 1000 gallon tank. Engine 3 responds mutual aid to the City of Kinston and third out to calls within the Sandy Bottom Fire District.

Squad 23

Squad 23 is a 2018 Ram 5500 with a 250 gallon water tank. The squad responds to vehicle accidents, brush fires, and first responder calls.

Engine 4

Sandy Bottom is pleased to announce the purchase of a 2019 Spartan Metro Star LFD. Engine 4 will be equipped with a 1500GPM pump and a 1250 gallon tank. Engine 4 will arrive in early 2020.
